The Scholarships

The more effort you put in, the more opportunities you have to earn a scholarship. Class of 2021 students, complete five of the six actions (Build, Practice, Strengthen, Complete and Apply) and you're eligible to earn $40,000. Scholarships will be awarded through monthly drawings to students who complete each action.

Make sure your college list has a mix of academic safety, match, and reach schools.

5. Complete the FAFSA: $1,000

Fill out the free government form to apply for financial aid.

6. Apply to Colleges: $1,000

Apply to the schools you want to attend.

Culpeper Soil & Water Scholarship��

Culpeper Soil & Water Scholarship

Requirements: Plan to pursue a career in a conservation-related field, environmental science, soil and water consumption conservation or related field. This scholarship can award up to $4,000.00.

Atkins Family Scholarship��

New Requirements

Due Date: April 16, 2021

Requirements: Those students' continuing education-technical school, community college, or four year college. Preference will be given to those students who will be pursuing an education in conservationism or related field. This scholarship awards $2,000.00. ( this opens up this scholarship up to all seniors, Preference will be given to a senior that is going into the conservation field) I believe you should fill out all scholarships because you never know ����������

"Living the Dream"

Due Date: April 23, 2021

Requirements: for graduating seniors pursuing behavioral education, social work and/or medicine.Application: Paper only application, you can find it at the scholarship information wall located outside the guidance door. Application and essay must be turned into Mrs. Cox in Guidance.

PB & J Foundation
Due Date: May 31, 2021

Requirements:
• For seniors attending an accredited 2-year or 4-year College in the U.S.
• This scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed.
• Range from $500.00 to $1,000.00
• Complete online application, transcript and two letters of recommendation!

Jim Claxton Scholarship Fund
Due Date: May 31, 2021

Requirements: Senior that will be enrolling in a 2 or 4
year college or university.
Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA
Preference may be given to students enrolled in a turf
grass related field. Awards $500.00.
